The company's AMP Micro MATE-N-LOK soft-shell connector system is now available in a 3-mm pitch. The wire-to-board pin and receptacle system features a dual-beam contact design for improved contact and high-temperature housings for IR processing. The connectors are available in two through 24 positions and header configurations include vertical and right angle types. The vertical headers employ through-hole mounting with options for a kinked leg or solder pad. Right angle headers are available with a through-hole board lock, solder pad, plastic through hole board lock, or a mechanical board lock.
Surface-mount headers are also available. Header and receptacle housings are constructed of 94V-0 nylon. All header pins and receptacle contacts are brass and are available in tin or gold plated. Prices range from $0.20 to $0.60 each/2,500.
