ITT Interconnect Solutions’ latest series of transportation connectors are designed to overcome harsh environments encountered with transportation applications

ITT Interconnect Solutions’ latest series of transportation connectors are designed to overcome harsh environments encountered with transportation applications. The APD series interconnects, sealed to IP67/IP69K specifications, offer interface options ranging from 1- and 2-way high power and 4-way high voltage, up to 51-way versions. Their flexible platform makes them a fit for customized solutions, as well as special sensor and printed-circuit-board types of interconnects. A bayonet locking system will handle the high vibration encountered vehicles and agricultural equipment. For ultra-heavy-duty applications, the APD 19- and 51-way connectors feature a secondary locking feature to simplify contact installation and guarantee contact alignment. Electrical specs meet requirements of up to 48 V dc and 240 A.
