Locking screw options enhance the company's QTS-RA/QSS-RA series 0.635-mm pitch interfaces (QTS-RA/QSS-RA Series) that allow the mating of boards in perpendicular and co-planar applications. The options also claim to significantly increase the ruggedness of the system and help prevent accidental un-mating due to racking of the boards. Pin counts from 50 to 200 are available for perpendicular mating. Horizontal applications perform at speeds up to 1.75 GHz in a single-ended configuration. Target applications include servers, routers, set top boxes, network systems, switchers, hubs, bridges, industrial computers, test systems, and RAID systems.
