The S/DCP3-1201 embarks as the industry’s first 3U CompactPCI single-board computer to employ Intel’s Core Duo processor operating at 1.67 GHz with a total power dissipation of 15W. It can be configured with either Core Duo or Core Solo CPUs and is available in both air- and conduction-cooled configurations. The board provides one PMC site, configurable with an optional 1x8 PCIe XMC site on the back of the card. Other features include 2 MB of L2 advanced transfer cache, up to 1 GB of ECC DDR2 SDRAM, up to 2 GB of USB user flash memory, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, three USB 2.0 ports, six RS-232 ports, two SATA ports, and eight GPIO lines. The board is available in L0, L50, and L100 air-cooled and L100 and L200 conduction-cooled versions. Operating-system support includes Windows, Solaris, and Linux.
