Previously available in a range of air-cooled configurations, the company's Xilinx Virtex-II Pro-based CHAMP-FX 6U VME64x and VITA-41 digital-signal processor engines are now available in ruggedized, conduction-cooled versions, making them suitable for deployment in harsh environments. Board features include two Virtex-II Pro FPGAs (XC2VP70 and XC2VP100), two 405 PowerPC processors per FPGA, 512 MB of DDR266 SDRAM, 16 MB of DDR II SRAM, two PMC/XMC mezzanine sites with processor PMC compatibility, two off-board StarFabric interfaces, four 4-bit, bi-directional RocketIO ports, 64 MB of flash memory, and support for ChipScope Pro and JTAG interfaces. Additionally, IP blocks in the CHAMPtools-FX Design Kit are now qualified for use over the entire Level 200 (-40°C to +85°C) temperature range.
