Carlo Gavazzi Computer Solutions, Inc.’s 522 development system supports 6U cards and is promoted as a versatile design for hardware and software developers looking for performance and functionality advantages over customary chassis configurations. The system provides unobstructed access to both system and rear transition boards for device monitoring.

Other features include cooling via 200-CFM fans, front-mounted test points, LED indicators for all dc voltages, an optional LCD for displaying system voltages, and both fan and temperature monitoring functions. The 522 is available with a seven-slot (two VME64X and five VPX) 6U VPX backplane meeting the latest VITA 46 standards.
