Snapping into any standard circuit board and fitting over four surface-mount LEDs, the LPF-C041304 passive light guide is useful wherever light must be moved from circuit board-mounted SMT LEDs to a nearby front panel to provide an easy-to-see, horizontal indication of a circuit fault or status. The right-angle quad LED fault indicator is made of clear UL 94-O-rated polycarbonate and can be stacked with a mate to provide eight front-panel indicators. The light guide's four, round, 2.8-mm indicators are on 5.08-mm centers, at a distance of 16.0 mm from the center line of the board-mounted LEDs. Prices start at $1.45 each/1,000.
