A new infrared enclosure has been designed in three sizes, from 3.35'' x 1.81'' x 0.63'' to 4.72'' x 259'' x 0.87''. They are made from PMMA, a black plexi-glass material that is transparent to infrared. The enclosures are useful for mobile devices,

A new infrared enclosure has been designed in three sizes, from 3.35'' x 1.81'' x 0.63'' to 4.72'' x 259'' x 0.87''. They are made from PMMA, a black plexi-glass material that is transparent to infrared. The enclosures are useful for mobile devices, such as for transmitters and remote controllers. Pre-fitted sealing gaskets can be used to protect against water and dust for industrial or outdoor use. Screw pillars are in the top and base for pc boards. The top of each case has a recessed area for fitting membrane keypads or labels. All sizes will accept battery cells and the largest has a separate access lid.
