The company's electronics enclosures require no customization of any kind, making them contenders for cost-sensitive designs. Their high-impact polycarbonate covers protect circuits and components while leaving board-mounted switches, connectors, and other I/O devices accessible. In concept, the enclosures eliminate the NRE, tooling, setup, and profiling charges of a custom enclosure, along with the associated delays. They are ready to use out of the box and are also re-useable and interchangeable across a range of products. Transparent versions are available for viewing board mounted displays and indicators, and gaskets are available for harsher environments. A general-purpose microcontroller board is available to demonstrate the concept. Pricing is consistent with comparably sized plastic enclosures. CIRCUITSHELL INC., Lottsburg, VA.
