Based on Intel's dual core processors and a GME945 chipset, the ReadyBoard 830 EPIC-format SBC enlists either a single-core1.07-GHz ULV Celeron or a 1.66-GHz Intel Core Duo L2400 processor. The board supports up to 4 GB of 533-MHz DDR2 RAM and employs a GMA950 graphics display to support CRTs, flat panels, and wide-screen digital TVs at resolutions up to 2,048 x 1,536. An onboard video encoder adds TV-out capabilities such as HDTV (420p, 720p, and 1080i) plus component and S-Video. Standard I/O includes dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, six USB 2.0 channels, AC97/HD audio, two SATA interfaces, one UDMA EIDE interface, compact flash socket, four serial ports with two supporting RS-422/-485, eight GPIO pins, and a parallel port. Expansion capabilities include a PCI Express Mini Card and a PCI-104 expansion bus. Additionally, an optional MiniModule ISA card provides a PCI-to-ISA bridge for compatibility with commercial PC/104 (ISA bus) I/O cards. Pricing starts in the mid-$600’s for production quantities.
