The ezLCD-001-EDK evaluation kit includes a 2.7", 240 x 160 TFT color LCD and a controller card, both of which are mounted on an evaluation board. Interfacing to the LCD controller is via integrated serial and USB connectivity. The kit also includes SPI and I2C serial interfaces, 20 discrete I/Os, and a dc/dc converter that accommodates a supply voltage range from 3V to 7V. Power can be derived from either a USB port or an external power supply. Other features include updateable firmware, 96 KB of flash memory, and 4 KB of EEPROM. Price is $199.
