Well-suited for use in snubber and other high-current circuits, the 5MP2 Series of metallized polypropylene capacitors spans voltage ratings of from 400 to 2000 Vdc, RMS current carrying capability of from 5A to 25A, and capacitance values from 0.47 to 10.0 µF. In addition, these low ESR/ESL capacitors can be specified with any one of three different temination styles: axial leads and radial tab terminated devices with either a low or high profile--the tabs can be mechanically mounted or soldered onto pc boards. The 5MP2 caps also carry an UL94-VO flame retardant rating and cost from $1.50 to $6.50 each, depending on quantity ordered.
