Carrying characteristics identical to the SurgX 0805 chip, the 41206ESDA four-line voltage suppressor occupies only about 50% more board space than the 0805 chip. All devices utilize an advanced voltage-variable polymer technology and metal-deposition techniques to create bi-directional, transient-voltage suppressors that feature low capacitance and low leakage current. Designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from ESD in applications such as mobile communications and test equipment, the products react simultaneously to the transient voltage and clamp it below 60V. Pricing starts at $0.32 each/50,000.
