For machine vision, medical imaging and scientific imaging, I-Series high accuracy, high-performance frame grabbers are available in two versions supporting up to 2048 x 2048 resolutions. The I-25 and I-50 cards offer low pixel jitter of ±1 ns and 10-bit A/D conversion. Performance is more than 120-MB/s sustained transfers to system memory using a PCIbus master. The I-25 stores the 8 most significant of 10 bits and the I-50 stores either 8 bits or a full 10 bits. Consecutive images can be transferred to system memory in real-time to support video streaming applications. Simultaneous real-time display is attained by either real-time transfer over the PCIbus directly or display memory or by direct connection to popular graphics boards via the VIP/VMI industry-standard bus on both boards. A variety of configurable machine vision and camera I/O controls are included, such as trigger input, trigger output, strobe interface, camera exposure control, camera power, general-purpose digital I/Os, H and V sync input/output, and external clock.
