For printed circuit board applications, the RAST 5 tab header assemblies rely on .250 x .032 FASTON tabs residing on 0.5-mm centerlines. The headers are fully shrouded and available in assemblies with two through eight contact positions. Additionally, they are RoHS and ELV compliant. Available in vertical and right angle configurations, the tabs are tin or silver plated brass with additional contact finishes available upon request. The shrouded-header housing is UL 94 V-0 nylon, and the headers are press fit into the PCB before soldering for better perpendicular orientation. TYCO ELECTRONICS, Harrisburg, PA. (800) 522-6752.
