A new 240 x 64 LCD module, the DMF-50316, is well-suited for use in applications requiring long product lifespans, including industrial, retail point-of-sale, test/measurement and monitoring equipment. A CCFL backlight with a 50,000-hour lifespan helps ensure display longevity. The monochrome LCD module also features a contrast ratio of 50:1, making readability particularly easy under various types of lighting. The DMF-50316 LCD's surface luminance is 130 candelas and brightness is uniform. Overall dimensions (mm) are 180.0 x 70.0 x 14.0 and viewing area is 132.0 x 39.0 with a dot pitch of 0.53 x 0.53. The LCD also features an onboard controller IC and 64K SRAM. Pricing begins at $68.55 each in production quantities.
