A 15.1" TFT active matrix LCD monitor, 105-key keyboard and PS/2 touch-pad mouse on a slide-out shelf have been developed for controlling up to eight rack-mounted com- puters. The basic input is standard computer interface VGA/SVGA/XGA signals, with the input signal connector being a 15-pin mini D-Sub. The components of the industrial-grade KVM switch series have been integrated into a 19", 1U high rack, with the series including two models: RMD-515 for use with a single computer and RMD-815 for interfacing the monitor/keyboard/mouse with up to eight rack-mounted computers. The display provides on-screen user control of contrast, brightness, vertical/horizontal position, phase, clock, color temperature, and an auto-adjust. The 482.6 x 42.3 x 580-mm unit's power input requirement is universal auto-ranging 90-264 Vac, 12V/35W. Certifications include FCC-A, CE and UL. The RMD-515 weighs 18 Kg and costs $1,449 each and the RMD-815, 20 Kg and $1,969. For more information, call Walt Kowalski at OMNI VISION INC., Glendale Heights, IL. (630) 893-1720.
