Serving as alternatives to fuses in industrial controls, machine tool panels, and various automation systems, these miniature, IEC- and UL-compliant circuit breakers are available in 0.5A to 63A sizes with a uniform switching capacity of 10 kA throughout to protect against resistive and inductive loads per IEC/EN 60 898. Suitable for use as supplementary protectors and branch circuit protective devices in North America per UL 489, these fuseless DIN rail-mountable devices are functionally equivalent to conventional panel-board breakers. And in addition to providing visual on/off indication, the mini breakers come in a variety of single- and multiple-pole configurations conforming to IEC and UL 1077 supplementary device requirements and UL 489 for branch protection.
