MMIC Switch Modules Have Integrated ASIC Drivers

July 1, 1999

Containing GaAs FET MMIC RF and silicon CMOS ASIC driver chips, these dc to 3 GHz GaAs FET MMIC switches are designed to provide a high-performance, single plastic package solution to reduce board space, component count and time-to-market. The multi-chip modules are available with absorptive SPST, SPDT, SP3T and SP4T switches. All devices have integral drivers that accept TTL- or CMOS-compatible control signals. Popular uses include wireless infrastructure and many different communications applications for a variety of requirements in the DC-3 GHz frequency range.
