Mobile PC Workstations Feature Open-Wire Design

Sept. 1, 2000

The EG8100 series mobile computer workstations feature the company's patented QuadTruss open-wire design, which claims to provide 25% greater shelf strength than traditional designs as well as reducing moisture and dust build up. These workstations are said to be ideal for a wide variety of work environments including material handling, electronic assembly, cleanroom manufacturing, and healthcare facilities. Workstation dimensions are 24" x 24" x 55" with shelves adjustable on 1" increments. In addition to these standard dimensions, the workstations are also available in custom configurations. A swivel mouse-pad holder mounts on the operator's right or left side. Other options include a keyboard drawer, anti-static drag chain, and a choice of decorative, swivel, or swivel/brake casters. The workstations are available in either chrome or stainless-steel finishes.
