Rabbit Semiconductor released version 9 of its Dynamic C compiler and development environment for the Rabbit 2000/3000 microprocessor. Dynamic C costs $210. When bundled with SSL, FAT, RabbitWeb, PPP, SNMP, and AES software modules, it goes for $499. New features include execution tracing, symbolic stack tracing, bookmark support, and dynamic buffer allocation. Rabbit's new Ethernet module is the RCM3720, with 512k flash, 256 kbytes of SRAM, and 1 Mbyte of serial flash. The Ethernet Development Kit costs $199. It includes the module, a development board, and Dynamic C. The module alone costs $55.
