Poised for server and storage applications, the PES24N3 and PES12N3 PCI Express fan-out switches and PEB20N2 and PEB20N1 PCI Express-to-PCI X 2.0 bridges team with the company's development kit that includes evaluation boards, drivers, and a GUI to enable complete system configuration and optimization. Each of the four devices is backward compatible with PCI-X standards. The PES24N3 and PES12N3 PCI switches offer three ports each, 24 and 12 lanes, respectively, and provide I/O expansion to accommodate north-bridge devices. The PEB20N2 and PEB20N1 devices offer two bridges and one bridge, respectively. In addition to forward bridging, the two devices also do reverse bridging, acting as an interface between legacy north-bridge ports. Prices for the PES24N3, PES12N3, PEB20N2, and PEB20N1 are $38, $26, $45, and $22 each/10,000, respectively. INTEGRATED DEVICE TECHNOLOGY INC., Santa Clara, CA. (800) 345-7015.
