The Type 108 pluggable terminal block with wire protection is manufactured with its mating square pin header assembled in the block. This design eliminates the need for a separate carrier for the pins, providing significant cost savings, it's claimed. The 5-mm block can be plugged and unplugged from the board after soldering.The unit accepts a wire range of 12 AWG to 28 AWG and is rated at 300V, 10A. It is available in sizes of from two to 24 circuits. The blocks are UL and CSA listed and meet VDE requirements; the terminals are made of brass with nickel plating; and the wire protectors are tin bronze with tin plating. Housings are of UL 94V-0 material.
