Designed for aerospace and defense applications requiring highly secure computing, the VPX3-1100 ATOMIC single-board computer (SBC) employs Intel’s 1.1-GHz Atom processor, up to 512 MB of DDR2 SDRAM, 1 GB of NAND flash, a BIOS firmware hub, and a trusted platform module for trusted boot. The SBC’s backplane input/output includes two PCI (x1) fabrics, two GbE interfaces, two RS-232 interfaces, eight GPIOs, two USB 2.0 ports, VGA, audio (mic, L/R), and XMC I/O. Additional features include a basecard user-programmable FPGA and a Secure Computing Mezzanine card for advanced security and perimeter defense applications.
