Low-cost variations of the full-featured ZXE-UFE/104P PC/104+ I/O board include the ZXE-USB2.0/104P and ZXE-FWSB/104P, said to be suitable for applications with numerous peripheral devices and systems that will be field-upgraded with peripherals. Typical applications include video imaging, industrial control, security systems, kiosks, and medical instruments. The ZXE-USB2.0/104P provides four USB 2.0 ports with data transfer rates up to 480 Mb/s while the ZXE-FWSB/104P offers two 400 Mb/s FireWire ports. Both boards interface seamlessly with the standard PCI bus, include an ISA-bus feed through and specify a power consumption of 2.5W.
