Expanding the company's high-density Compact D series press-fit D-Sub connectors are 62-contact connectors in straight receptacle versions to complement the family's 78-contact D-Subs. The press-fit terminations minimize the cost and time of an additional wave solder process. The connectors are compatible with any PCB thickness starting from 1.6 mm and the 62-contact receptacle connector occupies the same board space as 37-contact versions.
