The ERCu probe is designed for measuring copper coating thickness on laminates and multilayer pc boards without influence from the copper coating on the other side. It uses the electrical resistance method of measurement and is designed to work with the company's line of Multi Measurement System instruments. The probe features an easy-to-grip handle with sighting window for precise alignment of the probe tips. The measurement system together with the ERCu probe, as well as the ESL08 probe for measuring copper thickness in through holes, makes a helpful tool for circuit board applications. And its large display provides a clear presentation of measurement results and statistical data.
