Emerging as the market’s first Advanced Telecommunications Computing Architecture (ATCA) probing solutions, the E2943A active interposer probe board and E2944A passive interposer probe board promise quick and thorough testing of designs based on the ATCA backplane form factor. The E2943A active probe board supports the exerciser that plugs into the backplane to emulate real ASI designs or topologies. The board also offers analyzer and exerciser support for the AMC standard. The E2944A passive probe board supports non-intrusive capturing of ASI transactions between two line cards in the backplane. Alternatively, the exerciser can be used to emulate one of the line cards within the test setup. Prices for the E2943A and E2944A are $14,500 and $20,400. Agilent Technologies Inc., Palo Alto, CA.
