Designed to control small to midsize machines requiring just a few I/O points, the nanoLine, a small programmable controller/relay with Ethernet connectivity, features a removable operator display and flow-chart programming. Base controller stations are available in 24 Vac, 24 Vac/dc, and 115 Vac versions. On-board I/O consists of digital inputs and outputs and the component supports up to three I/O expansion modules, enabling a total I/O count of 24 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs. Optional expansion modules include Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485, and USB. Pluggable memory and real-time clock modules are also available. The optional operator panel is mountable on the base unit, through a control cabinet, or employed as a hand-held device. The controller uses nanoNavigator software, an intuitive flow chart language that allows for easy programming and hardware configuration. PHOENIX CONTACT INC., Harrisburg, PA. (800) 322-3225.
