RJ45 Jacks Snap-Mount Onto Boards

Aug. 1, 1998

Snap-mounted onto a pc board before soldering and configured to ensure precision alignment to the solder pads, surface-mount RJ45 jacks are engineered for convection and IR reflow solder processes. The jacks are available in both standard and low-profile styles and are well-suited for use on pc boards in a wide range of data communication applications, including modems, computers, 10Base-T and hubs. Constructed of UL-94V-0 glass-filled polyester, they features contacts with 35 µin. of gold over nickel plating and may be ordered in shielded or non-shielded versions.
