The KP02 series audio/video pushbutton switches actuate with a shorter stroke to accommodate smaller front-panel designs. They feature a total travel of 3.5 mm and a pre-travel distance of 2.3 mm. Over travel is 1.2 mm and height above the PCB is 23 mm to the top of the cap. Actuation force is 1.6N. The KP02 switches are available in three sizes: 17.4 mm, 15 mm, and 12 mm. They also feature snap in standoffs for secure board mounting and alignment, a unique actuation guide that gives positive indication of circuit transfer, and a choice of tactile or non-tactile feels. Integrating red/green LEDs, specs include a current rating of 100 mA maximum at 12 Vdc and an operating life of five-million operations minimum. NKK SWITCHES, Scottsdale, AZ. (480) 991-0942.
