Expected to find application within the telecommunications and satellite decoder industries where board space is at a premium, the IQVCXO-490 is a surface-mount voltage controlled crystal oscillator that utilizes an encapsulated quartz crystal for excellent long-term performance, it's claimed. Housed in an industry-standard six-pad epoxy package, the device measures only 14.2 x 9.2 x 6.5 mm and comes with "enable high" tri-state capability as standard. Offering a minimum frequency change of ±100 ppm over a control range of 0.5V to 4.5V and operating from a standard 5V supply, the series is HCMOS/TLL compatible. Designed to operate within a temperature range of 0 to 70°C, the device is specifiable with frequency stabilities of either ±50 ppm or ±25 ppm. Available as part of firm's Express Manufacturing Service with lead times as short as five working days.
