The Model USB-IDIO-16 solid-state relay output module features 16 individually optically isolated inputs and 16 fully protected solid-state FET outputs capable of switching up to 2A each. The module is compatible with both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 and offers hot-plug functionality. Other features of the 4" x 4" x 1.4" module include polarity-insensitive ac/dc inputs accepting up to 31 Vac/dc, jumper-selectable filtering per input channel for ac or voltage transients, a removable screw terminal board for easy wiring, and all power is derived from a USB port with no external power adapter required. An eight-input/-output version, the USB-IDIO-8, is also available. The USB-IDIO-16 supports most operating systems and includes a free Linux and Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003 software package containing sample programs and source code in Visual Basic, Delphi, C++ Builder, and Visual C++ for Windows.
