A fast acting chip fuse in EIA 1206 case, Type C1Q surface-mount fuse is capable of reducing board real estate by more than 50%. Designed for infrared reflow and wave soldering, the fuses are well-suited for secondary and peripheral circuit protection in portable and notebook computers, telecommunications line cards, and low-voltage circuits. Ratings are 0.25A to 4A at 125 vac and 63 vdc with interrupting ratings of 100A at 125 vac and 50A at 125 vdc. Clearing time is 4 hours minimum at 100%, 2 seconds at 200%, and 0.2 second at 300%.
