In partnership with Comtel Electronics, the company unveils the 14U, 14-slot T-Frame, a development system for engineers designing PICMG 3.0-compliant, AdvancedTCA (ATCA) switch fabric boards and systems. The unit includes all the functionality of a compliant ATCA shelf and features open access to test points and in-circuit test devices. Both rugged and portable, the system exploits an open-frame design that accommodates access to both front and rear boards for probes and debugging. Cooling is bottom pressurized via three front-removable fan trays with a cooling capacity of 150W per slot. Other features include dual shelf-management controllers, support for dual star-switch-fabric routing at data rates to 3.125 Gb/s, and optional power entry modules with filtering.
