Targeting both OEM and embedded applications, the DaqBoard/3000USB series embarks as the first 16-bit, 1-MHz USB data-acquisition (DAQ) boards to break the $800 price barrier. Each board in the series provides multifunction performance with analog inputs, waveform capable analog outputs, 24 digital I/Os, four quadrature-encoder-capable counter inputs, and dual timer outputs. Features include up to 32 differential or 64 single-ended analog inputs with seven programmable input ranges from ±100 mV to ±10V full scale, four thermocouple inputs, synchronous I/O, and low-latency control outputs with response times fast as 2 µs. Measuring 6" x 5.93", the boards come with DaqView 8.0 software, offering recent additions such as high-speed, scope-viewing modes and a host of other data-logging tools, and drivers for Visual Basic, Visual Basic.
