The company's latest family of COTS VME/VXS (VITA 41 form factor) boards combine FPGAs with advanced data conversion technology to provide the performance levels required in electronic warfare (EW), synthetic aperture and phased-array radar applications. The boards employ JetSpeed II technology for clock generation and distribution. Employing a scalable, modular architecture, the boards enlist two Xilinx Virtex-4 FPGAs: one SX55 for digital-signal processing and one FX100 for data-flow control. The family also provides support for the VXS interface, two optical links on the front panel, a VME64x interface, DDR2 SDRAM, plus auxiliary analog and digital I/Os. The first member of the VME/VXS group will be available in the first quarter of 2007. For more details, contact Klaas Vogel at ACQIRIS USA, Monroe, NY. (877) 227-4747.
