Available free of charge via download and including support for Windows Vista, the latest version of WebPACK 9.2i integrated software environment (ISE) maintains all the features of ISE Foundation 9.2i with support for optional embedded, DSP, and real-time debug design flows while adding support for the company's 65-nm Virtex-5 FPGAs. Three devices, the Virtex-5 LX30T, LX50, and LX50T, are on board and the software also includes support for the latest high Spartan-3 FPGAs. These include the Spartan-3A DSP platform FPGA. The software also integrates SmartCompile technology, which promises to cut implementation runtimes by up to six times while maintaining design preservation of unchanged logic.
