Digital Attenuator Modules Have Integral ASIC Drivers

Well-suited for both transmit and receive applications in wireless communications systems is a family of dc-to-2-GHz GaAs FET MMIC digital attenuators with integral ASIC drivers. The multi-chip modules contain GaAs FET MMIC RF chips and silicon CMOS ASIC driver chips and come in plastic packages that can be supplied on tape-and-reels for high-volume applications. The components are designed for a variety of receive and transmit channel uses in multi-channel, wireless infrastructure applications. All the devices have integral drivers that accept either TTL- or CMOS-compatible control signals.
