Integrated Amplitude Control Modules Span 2- GHz To 18-GHz Range

April 1, 1999
These highly integrated amplitude control modules consist of MMIC amplifiers, a high dynamic range PIN diode attenuator, and a PIN diode-based switched filter assembly. The microwave assemblies cover frequency ranges as broad as 2 to 18 GHz with 1 dB

These highly integrated amplitude control modules consist of MMIC amplifiers, a high dynamic range PIN diode attenuator, and a PIN diode-based switched filter assembly. The microwave assemblies cover frequency ranges as broad as 2 to 18 GHz with 1 dB gain compression points in excess of 15 dBm. The switched filter and attenuator switching speed is less than 1 ms with harmonic content 60 dB down. The compact packaging measures less than 6.5" x 3" x 1".
