Third Gen RF Modules Reduce Size, Add Features

The third generation of the company's HP series RF modules, the HP3, is said to be smaller and includes more features than its predecessors. The latest module, like its predecessors, is designed for use in the 902 MHz to 926 MHz. The transmitter employs FM/FSK modulation and a microprocessor-controlled synthesized architecture. Several versions and package sizes are available. The HP3-xPO offers eight parallel selectable channels and the HP-3xPS provides eight parallel and 120 serial-selectable channels. In addition, transmitter and receiver modules are available in reduced-size SIP pinned or SMT packages. Starting price is $25 each/1,000. LINX TECHNOLOGIES, INC., Medford, OR. (541) 471-6256.
