Residing in 3 mm x 3 mm, 16-pin TQFN packages, the MAX13481E, MAX13482E, MAX13483E 12-Mb/s USB transceivers feature a logic-selectable suspend mode that reduces current consumption and provides a USB-compliant interface to low-voltage ASICs and CPUs.

Residing in 3 mm x 3 mm, 16-pin TQFN packages, the MAX13481E, MAX13482E, MAX13483E 12-Mb/s USB transceivers feature a logic-selectable suspend mode that reduces current consumption and provides a USB-compliant interface to low-voltage ASICs and CPUs. The USB D+ and D- data lines are protected to ±15 kV as per the human body model. The MAX13481E has an active-low enumeration input that controls an internal pull-up switch and is pin-for-pin compatible with Micrel's MIC2551A and DP1681. The MAX13482E has an active-low enumeration input that controls an internal 1.5-kΩ, D+ pull-up resistor. Both the MAX13482E and MAX13483E offer VBUS detection and are pin-for-pin compatible with the DP1682 and DP1680 PointChips, respectively. Prices start at $0.73 each/1,000.
