Designed to optimize the performance of WiMAX systems, the company’s transceiver chipset includes four devices: the SE7051 IF, SE7351L RF, and SE7251L RF transceivers and the SE7380L switch. The SE7351L and SE7251L RF transceivers support tuning ranges from 3.3 to 3.8 GHz and 2.3 to 2.7 GHz, respectively, and deliver 40 dB of gain control. Integrating multiple baseband interfaces, the SE7051L IF transceiver supports commercially available HD-FDD BPS-IF, HD-FDD IQ, and TDD IQ baseband controllers. It features dual IF and RF synthesizers as well as a digital VGA capable of delivering gain control up to 50 dB. Additionally, the SE7380L GaAs PHEMT, SPDT switch is suitable for transmit/receive switching applications in the 3 GHz to 4 GHz band. Price for a complete chipset is $30 each in volume quantities.
