Minding the budget line in high-volume OEM applications, the Models 525 and 528 piezoelectric accelerometers include internal electronics and are available in TO-5 and TO-8 packages. Featuring low impedance, both devices claim a wide frequency response bandwidth, high shock survivability, and low noise.
Model 525 is available with dynamic ranges of ±50g, ±100g or ±500g while Model 528 offers dynamic ranges of ±5g, ±25g or ±50g. Both components are hermetically sealed and have an amplitude response of 0.5 Hz to 12 kHz and 0.5 Hz to 10 kHz, respectively. Other features of both models include an operating temperature of -54°C to 125°C, a peak sinusoidal vibration limit of ±800g, and a shock limit of 10 kg. Model 525 comes in two power ranges: 18V-28V/2 to 20 mA and 5V-18V/0.39 to 2 mA.
