Elstree, England: ARC International announced that a large U.S.-based semiconductor company (name not revealed as of this writing) has opted for a multiyear license. Expected to be valued around $11 million, the license is for ARC’s multimedia subsystems and configurable processors. This tier 1 customer, will use the license to create media-based semiconductor chips targeting video- and audio-rich devices.
