Bucharest welcomes design centre

Bucharest, Romania: Microchip Technology opened the doors to a new design centre in Bucharest on April 17. Microchip's CEO Steve Sanghi officially inaugurated the new site. Microchip recruited 15 staff for the centre, with a total of 30 jobs

Bucharest, Romania: Microchip Technology opened the doors to a new design centre in Bucharest on April 17. Microchip's CEO Steve Sanghi officially inaugurated the new site. Microchip recruited 15 staff for the centre, with a total of 30 jobs planned by the end of 2008 and 100 over the next four years.

The centre forms part of Microchip's global network of design facilities located that are in India, Switzerland, California, and Arizona.
