A new buzzer has been developed to achieve optimum performance in most environments, from routine to harsh. The SC3650 series buzzer has an inside ceramic membrane treated with a special coating for dust proofing, water proofing and chemical resistance. Unusually small front holes prevent intrusion by outside materials such as dust particles. Operating temperature ranges from –20°C to +60°C, with storage temperatures ranging from –20°C to +70°C. The SC3650 buzzer has been designed with amplified sound and a continuous high-sound-pressure output of 102 dB minimum at 30 cm/12 Vdc. Power consumption is a low 6 mA maximum at 12 Vdc. Oscillating frequency is 3.5±0.5 KHz. Operating voltage is 3 to 35 Vdc. The SC3650 buzzer weighs 17.8g. Options include PCB or panel mounting, and pin, fast-on, screw terminal or lead wire connections. SHOGYO INTERNATIONAL CORP., Plainview, NY. (516) 349-5200.
