CCSO Delivers True Sine Wave At 1 GHz

Oct. 8, 2008
Using a FR5 PCB and surface acoustic wave crystal technology, the CCSO-914X3-1000 saw clock oscillator (CCSO) module provides a 1-GHz, true sine wave output with a -142 dBc/Hz phase noise at a 10-kHz offset. In a 9 mm x 14 mm SMT package, the module

Using a FR5 PCB and surface acoustic wave crystal technology, the CCSO-914X3-1000 saw clock oscillator (CCSO) module provides a 1-GHz, true sine wave output with a -142 dBc/Hz phase noise at a 10-kHz offset. In a 9 mm x 14 mm SMT package, the module operates from a +3.3V supply and generates a true sine wave with a minimum output power of +5 dBm with no sub-harmonics. Second harmonic is -25 dBc typical and operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C. Single-unit price $57. CRYSTEK CRYSTALS CORP., Fort Myers, FL. (800) 237-3061.
