A new synchronous clock generator has been designed to operate in the industrial temperature range of –40°C to +85°C. The SCG2000i has the same capabilities of the company’s SCG2000 and 2500 family and is said to have high precision frequency translation for telecommunication applications. This product is said to offer superb performance, especially in applications where network line cards using these SCGs are cascaded together in a series. Enhanced performance includes lower phase gain for lower percent overshoot and greater bandwidth. The SCG200i has a free run mode, excellent jitter attenuation (8 Hz bandwidth), and a jitter output of less than 1 ps rms, SONET bandwidth. It measures 19.81 mm x 21.08 mm x 8.89 mm and has a 3.3V power supply. Frequencies come in 19.44 MHz and 125 MHz. Pricing is $41.80 each/1,000 pieces at 19.44 MHz, and $100 each/1,000 pieces at 125 MHz. THE CONNOR-WINFIELD CORP., Aurora, IL. (630) 851-4722.
