Responding to the demand for die-cast enclosures with environmentally-sealed housings, reliable EMC screening, and in a non-rectangular shapes, Hammond expands extended its popular 1590 family with the 1590TRP and STP models.

Responding to the demand for die-cast enclosures with environmentally-sealed housings, reliable EMC screening, and in a non-rectangular shapes, Hammond expands extended its popular 1590 family with the 1590TRP and STP models. Initial applications include audio equipment, guitar stomp boxes, industrial remote controllers, desktop switch arrays, and hand-held test equipment controllers. The octagonal 1590TRP measures 133 mm across the flats and 39 mm high and can house a circular PCB up to 126 mm in diameter. The two 1590STP trapezoidal units are also 39-mm high with the smaller portrait format measuring 112-mm long, narrowing from 79mm, to 62 mm. The larger landscape format measures 95 mm deep and narrows from 151 mm to 122 mm. All three types are available in natural and smooth-gloss polyester powder paint finishes. HAMMOND MANUFACTURING CO.
